The movie is about three guys on a beat up old space ship who are part of a team in the future called "Cosmic Rescue." The team is meant to save space ships that are in trouble. Instead, they are stuck cleaning up space debris most of the time. One of the three guys, Azuma, dreams of one day participating in real rescues. One day he receives a distress signal from a girl who is in trouble, but no one else sees it and no one will believe him. The team is soon relieved of their position in Cosmic Rescue, and they come to uncover a conspiracy.
